3 reviews for Roland FP-90X

  1. Hidden

Good equipment for people who do not play professionally
Great equipment for amateurs and professionals
    Very good keyboard. Good workmanship.

  2. Byron Cobb

Very good piano in terms of weight / tone / mechanism / price ratio. Of course, the mechanism does not work like in Ariuses for a few thousand more, but these often weigh around 40-60 kilograms, which is about 20, which is of great importance to me because sometimes I have to transport them.

A very nice instrument. Cool keyboard. Compact size – perfect for a small apartment. I can recommend it with a clear conscience.

  3. Abraham

I’ve had a chance to review the Roland FP-90X, and I must say that I strongly disagree with the glowing review given by Hidden rated 5/5. Firstly, while the keyboard itself is indeed very good, I find it to be somewhat lacking in terms of expressiveness compared to other digital pianos on the market.

As for the workmanship, I think there are some design flaws that detract from the overall user experience – the piano’s lid can be a bit finicky to close and open, and the pedal system feels a bit clunky. And let’s be real, when you’re paying top dollar for a product like this, you expect it to feel premium all the way through.

It seems to me that Hidden may have been too caught up in the piano’s aesthetics and didn’t give enough consideration to its actual performance and usability. That being said, I do think the FP-90X would be a great choice for beginners or hobbyists who want a high-end digital piano without breaking the bank – but for serious professionals, there are probably better options out there.

On a side note, it’s been quite a week in the news with the revelations about ABC News’ toxic culture and bullying. It’s absolutely appalling to hear that someone felt forced to attempt suicide due to the network’s treatment of them. As someone who values kindness and respect above all else, I can only imagine how difficult it must be for those affected by this kind of behavior.
