Description

Cort Earth70 is an affordable acoustic guitar that offers decent tone, versatility, and playability. It has a dreadnought body shape, which is the most popular acoustic guitar shape due to its balanced tone and projection. The body is made of mahogany back and sides with a solid Sitka spruce top, which provides a warm, full sound with good resonance and sustain.

The neck is made of mahogany and has a rosewood fingerboard with dot inlays. It feels comfortable and smooth to play, thanks to its slim profile and low string action. The guitar has a 25.3 scale length, 20 frets, and a 1.69 nut width, which makes it easy to play chords and lead lines with precision and ease.

The hardware includes a rosewood bridge and a set of die-cast tuners, which keep the guitar in tune and facilitate easy string changes. The guitar also comes with a built-in Fishman Isys+ preamp and pickup system, which allows you to plug it into an amplifier or sound system and play in larger venues or recording sessions.

Overall, Cort Earth70 is a solid choice for beginners or intermediate players who want a reliable and affordable acoustic guitar. It delivers a warm and balanced tone, a comfortable playing experience, and versatile amplification options.

Great ukulele from yamaha. I liked the sound very much and it is on a good level. The build quality is impeccable. I believe that the price is very low, it is simply ridiculous for such a product. Of course, the size of the ukulele takes up very little space and at the same time looks very nice. I highly recommend this product.

It is very nice. It was bought as a gift to a loved one. It works great for her and she still praises this instrument.

Frequently Asked Questions:

How does the Cort Earth70's scalloped bracing and satin finish contribute to its exceptional projection and playability for a mid-priced acoustic guitar?

The Cort Earth70 is an exceptional mid-priced acoustic guitar that boasts both exceptional projection and remarkable playability, thanks in part to its unique scalloped bracing pattern and satin finish. The scalloped bracing, which is a design element found on more expensive guitars, allows for greater vibration and resonance within the soundboard, resulting in a fuller, richer tone with enhanced volume and projection. This feature makes it an ideal choice for both stage performers and studio musicians who require exceptional acoustic projection to cut through the mix. Additionally, the Cort Earth70's satin finish not only looks stunning but also enhances playability by providing a smooth, slick surface that is easy on the fingers during prolonged playing sessions. This finish also reduces the overall weight of the guitar, making it more comfortable to hold and play for extended periods. Overall, the combination of scalloped bracing and satin finish in the Cort Earth70 creates a unique and exceptional acoustic experience that is hard to find at its price point. Whether you're a seasoned pro or just starting your musical journey, this guitar offers outstanding value for money and is an excellent choice for anyone looking to elevate their acoustic playing game.

How does the Cort Earth70's use of scalloped bracing and X-bracing in its construction impact its tonal qualities?

The Cort Earth70 guitar is constructed using a unique combination of scalloped and X-bracing techniques. Scalloped bracing, as used in the Earth70, involves carving out small sections from the interior of the guitar's top plate to reduce its stiffness and weight while maintaining structural integrity. This results in a more resonant and lively sound with greater sustain and projection. On the other hand, X-bracing is a traditional bracing pattern that provides additional support to the top plate, which helps to maintain the guitar's shape and prevent it from collapsing under string tension. The Earth70 combines these two techniques in order to achieve an optimal balance between tonal projection and sustain. The scalloped bracing allows for greater vibration and resonance of the guitar's top plate, which results in a more open and dynamic sound with enhanced clarity and presence in the mid and high frequencies. The X-bracing provides additional stability and rigidity to the overall structure, which helps to prevent excessive feedback and ensures that the guitar remains in tune under heavy playing conditions. Overall, the combination of scalloped and X-bracing in the Cort Earth70 results in a well-rounded tonal character that is both powerful and articulate, with excellent balance between bass, mid, and treble frequencies.

How does the onboard Cort Pinless Bridge System of the Earth70 acoustic guitar enhance intonation accuracy and ease of string changes?

The onboard Cort Pinless Bridge System of the Earth70 acoustic guitar is designed to improve both intonation accuracy and ease of string changes. The pinless bridge design eliminates the need for traditional string pins, allowing for a smoother transition between the strings and the bridge, which in turn improves the overall intonation accuracy of the instrument. Additionally, the string spacing is optimized for easy playability, making it easier to change strings without having to worry about misaligned or poorly fitting strings. Overall, this system enhances the playing experience by providing greater tonal clarity and improved tuning stability, making the Earth70 an ideal choice for both beginner and seasoned acoustic guitarists alike.
