Everly –
As a bassist, I recently had the opportunity to test the Fender Rumble Stage 800 bass amplifier, and I must say, my experience was rather mixed. So, let me give you my honest review.
First of all, I was impressed with the size of this thing. With its 10.0 Elements speaker, it not only looks good, but it also delivers a robust and rich sound that really brings out the bass in your music. The 800.0 W Power Output-RMS also means that it’s powerful enough to handle any gig without breaking a sweat.
However, I did have some issues with this amplifier, which is why I’m giving it just 3 out of 5 stars. For one thing, the controls are rather inconveniently situated, which made it difficult for me to make quick adjustments on the fly. I also felt that the sound quality was somewhat average, especially in comparison to other bass amplifiers I’ve tried out previously. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not a bad amplifier, but I just expected a little more from a Fender bass amp.
All in all, I’d say that the Fender Rumble Stage 800 is a decent bass amplifier, but it’s not without its flaws. If you’re in the market for a bass amplifier and are looking for something that’s solid but won’t break the bank, then this could be a decent option. However, if you’re looking for something with superior sound quality and more intuitive controls, then you may want to keep searching.

The Fender Rumbler Stage 800 is a powerful bass amplifier designed to provide exceptional sound quality for both amateur and professional musicians. This amp offers an impressive 800 watts of power, making it perfect for live performances or recording sessions where you need a punchy, tight bass tone.
One key feature that sets the Fender Rumbler Stage 800 apart from other bass amplifiers is its Impedance Switching. This allows you to choose between 4, 8 and 16 ohm speaker impedances, giving you greater control over your sound. By selecting an appropriate impedance for your specific speakers or cabinets, you can optimize the performance of your setup and reduce unwanted resonance.
Another standout feature is the Fender Rumbler Stage 800’s EQ controls. With three-band EQ, adjustable mid-scoop and an additional graphic EQ, you have plenty of options to shape your tone just how you want it. Additionally, there’s a dedicated knob for controlling the amount of Impedance, allowing you to fine-tune your sound even further.
In comparison to smaller practice amps or lower-wattage stage amps, the Fender Rumbler Stage 800 provides significantly more power and flexibility. It’s ideal for use in larger venues where a strong, clear bass tone is essential. At the same time, it’s versatile enough that beginners can learn on it too, thanks to its easy-to-use controls and wide range of sounds.
Overall, the Fender Rumbler Stage 800 is an excellent choice for any bass player looking for a reliable, high-quality amplifier with plenty of features to help them achieve their desired sound. With its powerful output, flexible EQ options, and innovative Impedance Switching technology, it’s well worth considering if you need a versatile bass amp that can handle both practice sessions and live performances.
