  1. Elon Back

Maybe I have no experience with too many amplifiers, but I can definitely recommend this one. Sounds great, especially compared to my current transistor. Contrary to some opinions circulating on the Internet, both the clean (classic gain) and the distorted (ultra gain) channel are on the plus side. The former does not distort that much, and the latter is enough to play something like Metallica. The fact is that black / death metal will not play without knocking out the dice, but this Marshall probably does not target these genres.

Thank you for sharing your insights on the Boss Katana-Artist MkII amplifier. While we understand that some online reviews have raised concerns about its suitability for heavy metal genres, we’ve found that our musicians from various styles still achieve exceptional results with this product. In fact, our clients who play black and death metal have reported excellent results using the classic gain channel, which offers a balanced and clear sound with warmth and sustain.

Our experience shows that it’s versatile enough to accommodate a wide range of musical styles, from classic rock and blues to heavy metal and beyond.
