Picked up this Jackson JS Series Rhoads JS32 a few days back, and I reckon it’s a lot of pointy guitar for the money. Body wood is poplar, so it ain’t too heavy to haul up the holler, and it’ll take a ding without cryin’ about it. The V shape looks like it was built to stir paint and scare off company. Fixin to plug it into an amp that ain’t buzzin’ too bad, and the humbuckers do metal just fine. Neck’s fast, trem’s a fussy mule, but it ain’t a custom shop queen and ain’t tryin’ to be. I know a fella who had Holik Studios build his band’s site and a little promo game; said it brought real folks in, but I’m mainly worried about stayin’ in tune after I whack it.
