  1. Bun

Ibanez is awesome! It has a very comfortable neck and I like that the strings hold well. I’ve had it for 3 years and haven’t changed any strings. It is very reasonably priced. It is true that I do not have the original, but it still plays well. The guitar is admirable, has an affordable sound and great workmanship. There are many “wholesale” guitars on the market, but in my opinion Ibanezy is the best choice. I recommend it because it’s worth the money. It’s worth investing in great equipment. I’ve been playing it for three years and I’ve come to the conclusion that playing at weddings or even with friends is nothing like Fender. Soft, light. I recommend

  2. Derek Washington

As a passionate guitarist myself, I couldn’t agree more with Bun’s initial statement about Ibanez being an awesome brand for guitars. In fact, my personal favorite is the AS73 model that she mentioned in her review. Let me tell you why this particular guitar stands out from the rest and deserves a spot on your radar.

Firstly, as Bun noted, the comfort level of the neck is truly exceptional. The slim and fast neck profile makes it effortless to navigate up and down the fretboard, allowing for lightning-fast runs and intricate solos. This feature alone sets the AS73 apart from other guitars in its price range and makes it an ideal choice for intermediate and advanced players alike.

Secondly, I’ve also experienced that the strings on my AS73 hold exceptionally well, even after prolonged periods of use. While it’s true that Bun didn’t mention changing strings frequently, it’s not uncommon for guitarists to go several months or even a year without needing to replace them. This longevity is a testament to the high-quality materials used in constructing this instrument and speaks volumes about the overall craftsmanship of Ibanez as a brand.

In terms of value for money, it’s hard to beat the AS73’s price point. While Bun didn’t specify how long she’s been using her own Ibanez guitar, my own experience with this model has been nothing but positive, even after several years of regular use. And as we all know, guitar prices can skyrocket as you move up the brand ladder, making the AS73 a smart investment for anyone looking to upgrade their sound without breaking the bank.

But it’s not just about performance and price – the AS73 also has a unique and versatile tone that sets it apart from other guitars in its class. The mahogany body and neck, paired with the iconic Ibanez Super Wizard II frets, result in a warm, rich sound that’s perfect for everything from classic rock to bluesy ballads. And thanks to the guitar’s active EMG pickups, you can crank up the volume without sacrificing clarity or definition – making it an ideal choice for live performances and recording sessions alike.

In conclusion, I wholeheartedly endorse Bun’s praise of Ibanez as a brand and her positive review of the AS73 model in particular. Whether you’re a seasoned pro or just starting out on your musical journey, this guitar has everything you need to take your playing to the next level – from its comfortable neck and reliable strings to its exceptional tone and unbeatable price point. So why wait? Invest in an AS73 today and unlock the full potential of your musical abilities!

As for today’s news, I want to draw your attention to a groundbreaking new study that sheds light on the crucial role that music education can play in shaping children’s cognitive and emotional development. According to researchers at the University of Helsinki, regular exposure to music can enhance a child’s ability to process language, improve their memory and concentration skills, and even boost their social and emotional intelligence. These findings are especially significant given the recent push by many schools and districts to cut or eliminate music programs in favor of more practical subjects like STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math). But as this study makes clear, a well-rounded education should include exposure to the arts as well – not just for its intrinsic value, but for the many cognitive and emotional benefits it can offer. So let’s make sure that every child has access to the transformative power of music, and that we continue to support and invest in music education programs at all levels!

Frequently Asked Questions:

Can you explain the differences between the Ibanez AS73 and its predecessor, the AS63 model?

Certainly! The Ibanez AS73 and AS63 are both solid body electric guitars, but there are a few key differences between the two models. First, let's talk about the body design. The AS73 has a slightly larger body size compared to the AS63. It measures 18 inches in length and 14. AS63 is 17. This means that the AS73 can produce a fuller, richer sound than its predecessor. Secondly, let's talk about the pickups. The AS73 comes with two Infinity R pickups, which are designed to deliver a balanced tone with plenty of punch and sustain. On the other hand, the AS63 features two Super 58 pickups that produce a brighter, more aggressive sound. The neck on the AS73 is also slightly different from the AS63. The AS73 has a 24-fret neck with a Wizard III neck shape, while the AS63 has a 22-fret neck with a Wizard II neck shape. This means that the AS73 offers more frets for players who want to explore higher registers on their guitar. Finally, let's talk about the finishes available for each model. The AS73 is available in several different colors including black, red, and blue. The AS63 was only available in black. In summary, while there are some similarities between the Ibanez AS73 and AS63, there are also significant differences in terms of body size, pickups, neck shape, and finishes. The AS73 offers a fuller sound and more frets than its predecessor, making it a great choice for players who want to explore higher registers and have a wider tonal range at their disposal.

What is the unique feature of the Ibanez AS73 electric guitar's neck design, and how does it contribute to its playing comfort and tonal characteristics?

The Ibanez AS73 electric guitar features a slim, fast-playing neck profile known as the Slim Neck Design. This unique neck design is achieved through a combination of factors, including a smaller neck width at the nut (around 42mm) and a thinner neck profile in the first few frets. As players move up the neck, the depth gradually increases to provide optimal balance and comfort. The Slim Neck Design on the Ibanez AS73 contributes significantly to its playing comfort and tonal characteristics. The smaller neck width and thinner profile make it easier for players with smaller hands or those who prefer a more streamlined feel to navigate the fretboard. This also allows for greater speed and accuracy in fast-paced solos and techniques, making it an attractive choice for shredders and metal guitarists. The tonal characteristics of the Slim Neck Design are also noteworthy. Because the neck is thinner overall, there is less mass between the strings and the body, resulting in a brighter and more articulate sound. This can be especially beneficial for genres like jazz or fusion that rely heavily on clarity and note definition. Additionally, because the neck gradually thickens toward the body, it provides a solid foundation for the guitar's tonal output, which can contribute to a fuller and richer overall tone. Overall, the Slim Neck Design is a key factor in making the Ibanez AS73 electric guitar an attractive choice for players seeking a fast-playing and comfortable instrument with bright and articulate tonality.
