BluGuitar FatCab introduction
BluGuitar presents a new passive guitar cabinet, specially designed to work with the AMP1 amplifier which will soon appear in our offer.
The BluGuitar FATCAB loudspeaker is based on the classic 12-inch BluGuitar Fat speaker, driven by a 60W amplifier with an impedance of 8 ohms, weighing only 15 kg.
Everything is enclosed in a durable birch plywood case and finished with the popular Tolex Black Levant material.
Despite its small size, the produced sound is juicy and fleshy to reflect the spirit of old school 4×12.
The grill is finished in black Basket Weave material.
Here we get the connections:
- x1 mono input,
- x1 parallel output
- x1 serial output
It is worth considering buying BluGuitar FATCAB if you have 4×12 in the studio but you would also like to practice at home without building up the neighbors and the whole street.
Not without significance is also the low weight and dimensions in relation to the full quad set.
The BluGuitar FatCab is a high-quality, portable guitar cabinet designed for use with both tube and solid-state amplifiers. With its powerful 12″ Celestion speaker and closed-back design, the FatCab delivers rich, deep tones that are ideal for a wide range of musical styles.

The Shredder –
It’s okay, but advertising it as a replacement for 4×12 is a bit of an exaggeration.
I understand marketing and referring to legends, but let’s be serious.
Whoever has ever played 4×12 won’t even laugh.
It’s like comparing Mashall CODE digital farts to the legendary one hundred on lamps, not software.
The appearance and design refer to the legend and basically I have no objections because you can’t cheat physics and a big box is a big box.
Price? – a bit too much – marketing probably cost a lot and is included in the price.
