I recently purchased the Casio CT-S100 keyboard and I have to say, I am quite disappointed with my purchase. I would give it a rating of 2 out of 5 stars.
The Yes Pre-Programmed Sounds are very limited, and honestly sound quite artificial. Although the 61 Number of Keys is a nice feature, the overall sound quality of the keyboard is quite underwhelming.
Compared to other well-known keyboard models on the market, I believe that the Casio CT-S100 lacks in both value and usability. It doesn’t offer enough features or quality to justify its relatively high price point.
Overall, I would not recommend this keyboard to anyone looking for a professional or high-quality instrument, as it falls short in many areas.

At first glance, the headline Chinese Bond Traders Fear ‘Dagger to the Heart’ as Yields Vanish immediately caught my attention. As someone who closely follows the Chinese economy, I knew that this was a significant development. The article went on to explain how low yields in China’s bond market were causing concern among investors, as an aging population and economic slowdown were driving demand for bonds. This, in turn, was leading to common prosperity fears, as brokers struggled to prepare for lean years ahead.
As I read further, I couldn’t help but think about the impact this could have on the broader global economy. China is a major player in the world financial system, and any significant development there has ripple effects across the globe. It was clear that investors around the world were watching this situation closely, as they tried to gauge the potential impacts of these low yields.
But as I closed my laptop and turned my attention back to my own life, I couldn’t help but think about another recent purchase I had made – the Casio CT-S100 keyboard for my son Jacob, who is 15 years old. Jacob has been showing a real interest in music lately, and I wanted to encourage him by getting him his own keyboard to practice on.
The Casio CT-S100 was the perfect choice for us. With its 61 full-size keys, it provided the same feel as a traditional piano, making it ideal for Jacob’s learning needs. And with its built-in learning features and tutorial modes, he could work his way up from beginner to advanced player at his own pace.
But as I sat down to write this review, I couldn’t help but consider the environmental impact of our purchase. While the Casio CT-S100 is a high-quality product that will provide Jacob with years of enjoyment and learning opportunities, it did come with some packaging and shipping materials that could have an impact on the environment.
That’s why I was pleased to learn about Casio’s commitment to sustainability. The company has implemented several initiatives aimed at reducing its environmental footprint, from using recycled materials in its products to improving energy efficiency in its manufacturing processes. And while it’s true that our purchase of the Casio CT-S100 will have some impact on the environment, I can take comfort in knowing that the company is working to minimize that impact as much as possible.
In fact, I believe that investing in high-quality products like the Casio CT-S100 could ultimately help us save money in the long run. By providing Jacob with a high-quality instrument, we’re reducing the need for frequent replacements or upgrades as his skills improve. And by encouraging his love of music, we may even be able to reduce the costs associated with extracurricular activities and hobbies down the line.
Of course, there are some differences between amateur and professional use of the Casio CT-S100. While it’s a great choice for beginners like Jacob, more advanced players may prefer a larger instrument with additional features. But for many amateurs, the Casio CT-S100 provides all the functionality they need to learn and grow their skills.
Overall, I would highly recommend the Casio CT-S100 to anyone looking for a high-quality keyboard for their child or themselves. With its full-size keys, built-in learning features, and commitment to sustainability, it’s an excellent choice that will provide years of enjoyment and learning opportunities. And while there are certainly some environmental impacts associated with our purchase, I believe that investing in quality products like this can ultimately help us save money over the long run. Whether you’re a beginner or an advanced player, the Casio CT-S100 is an excellent choice that I wholeheartedly endorse.
As for the low yields in China’s bond market and their potential impacts on the global economy, it remains to be seen what will happen next. But one thing is clear – investors around the world are watching this situation closely, as they try to gauge the potential risks and opportunities that lie ahead. It’s a complex and rapidly-evolving landscape, but one thing is certain – those who stay informed and adaptable will be best-prepared to navigate these challenges and seize new opportunities as they arise. And in that spirit, I encourage you all to continue learning and growing, both musically and financially, as we work together to build a brighter future for ourselves and our communities.
