1 review for Casio CTK-7200

  1. strong

I did not plan to buy a Casio, looking for an instrument – I was targeting a Yamaha or Roland or Korg. Out of curiosity, however, I turned on the CTK 7200 in the store – and I was very pleasantly surprised. In my opinion, the keyboard (although the plastic itself, as in keyboards) and sounds clearly better than those offered by other companies at a similar or even higher price. Not to mention much more possibilities, even drawbars – they allow you to create very nice sounds. I do not deal with music professionally, although I have a musical education – and with a pure heart I can recommend this Casio model, even though I thought that only watches can make good;)

Frequently Asked Questions:

Question: How do I change the sound bank on my Casio CTK-7200 keyboard?

To change the sound bank on your Casio CTK-7200 keyboard, you need to follow these steps:

1. Make sure that your keyboard is turned on and set to the "Performance" mode. This mode allows you to select different sounds and combinations of sounds for each of the 64 performance voices available in your keyboard.

2. Press the [FUNCTION] button located below the display screen to enter the function menu.

3. Use the [CURSOR] buttons (up and down arrows) to navigate through the various categories in the function menu until you reach "Sound Set" or "Sound Bank." The exact name may vary depending on your keyboard's firmware version, but it should be easy to identify as it usually displays a picture of a sound wave or an open folder icon.

4. Once you have selected the "Sound Set" option, use the [CURSOR] buttons again to scroll through the available sound sets. There are several preloaded sound banks in your keyboard, including General MIDI, Jazz, Orchestra, and others. Each bank contains a collection of different sounds suitable for specific genres or styles of music.

5. Select the sound set that you want to use by pressing the [ENTER] button when it is highlighted on the display screen. Your Casio CTK-7200 keyboard will automatically load all the sounds from the selected sound bank into its internal memory, making them available for use in your performances and compositions.

6. To exit the function menu, press the [FUNCTION] button again or simply wait for the timer to expire (usually around 5 seconds). Your keyboard will return to the Performance mode with the newly selected sound bank loaded and ready to be used.

Remember that you can always change the sound bank later if you want to try out different sounds or create a customized sound palette tailored to your preferences and musical needs.
