As someone who has worked in retail sales for quite some time, I know a thing or two about the quality of products by different brands. Korg has always been a reliable brand in the world of musical instruments, and I have used their products before with great satisfaction. However, my experience with the Korg Prologue-8 synthesizer keyboard instrument has been nothing short of disappointing.
I had purchased this product back in February, and after going through a lot of online reviews, I was excited to get my hands on it. However, as soon as I started using it, I was disappointed. First off, the sound quality was not up to par with what I was expecting from a Korg synthesizer. While the 8-voice polyphony works well in theory, the sound produced was often muffled and lacked depth, especially when compared to the Roland JD-Xi.
Moreover, the build quality of the keyboard was questionable, with a lot of plastic components that seemed to be easily breakable. This was a big flaw, as even a small amount of force could potentially lead to the instrument being damaged.
However, the delivery of the synthesizer to Reno was prompt and hassle-free. It arrived on time and in perfect condition.
Overall, while the product may seem like a good deal on paper, the disappointing sound quality and build quality make it difficult for me to recommend it to others.
