1 review for Casio CDP-230R

  1. Walter Payne

So a sonically new piano definitely improved compared to that of PC3. The instrument is nicely made (appearance) and solid. After previous problems with PC3x, I gave Kurzweil a chance once again. But alas – a failure! In the new pitch, the pitch bender does not return to position 0! Unfortunately, Kurzweil’s quality control is limp.

Professional stage piano. Great piano sounds. Intuitive operation. The Fatar TP100 keyboard is a very good compromise and probably the golden mean to control the foam, piano and organ sounds as well as synthesizers. I would highly recommend.

The Casio CDP-230R is a portable, affordable and easy-to-use digital piano that provides an authentic piano experience. It offers a range of features to help you learn, play and compose music:

1. 88 full-size keys with touch response: The keyboard feels just like playing a traditional acoustic piano, allowing for dynamic playing where softer tones are achieved by playing lightly, while louder notes require harder pressing.

2. Built-in speakers: Two high-quality stereo speakers provide clear sound projection without requiring an external amplifier or speaker system.

3. 10 built-in tones: This includes the standard piano tone, as well as other popular instrument sounds such as electric pianos, organs, and strings, which can be used for composing and arranging music.

4. Duet mode: This function splits the keyboard into two equal parts with identical ranges of keys, enabling a teacher and student or two students to play side by side on one instrument.

5. Metronome: The built-in metronome helps you improve your rhythm and timing, which is crucial when practicing difficult pieces or learning new techniques.

6. Transpose function: Allows you to change the pitch of the instrument without altering its range. This feature can be particularly useful for singers who want to play along with their voice.
